PSR This Weekend
PSR Classes resume this week at
their regular times!
PreK-3rd - Sunday 10:30am
4th-8th - Monday 6:45pm
Socks for St. Malachi
Again this year Mrs. Ruskowski's
6th graders will be collecting socks for the homeless men & women
around the St. Malachi's West 25th St. Center. We are asking
EVERY PSR student to contribute a pack of men's white athletic
socks! Members of Mrs. Ruskowski's 6th grade class will be
collecting every week between February 5th and March 19th! Watch for
the collection box!

We have a newsletter to
keep everyone informed about what is going on in the Parish School

Confirmation News
8th grade Confirmation Candidates will have
their 2nd session on Sunday February 12th at 7:00pm.
Mary Lou Beers will be their guest speaker.
The session will be in the church. Parents &
Sponsors are welcome to attend.
The 9th graders will hold their 2nd Confirmation Session on
Sunday February 12th, 2012. Follow the Confirmation button at

about this session.
The 10th graders will hold their 2nd
Confirmation session on Sunday February 26, 2012. For more information follow
the Confirmation button on the Blue Bar at the left
of this page.
This
year 2011-2012 we will be Confirming grades 8, 9 &
10. The 8th graders will have a separate
preparation "track", led by Sr. Meribeth Rome, from
the High Schoolers (grades 9 & 10), who will be led
by Fr. Chris Weber. Follow

Registration
Registration
for our Religious Education programs (PSR, Teen Faith &
Confirmation) continues. If you are registering for the first time, follow the navigation
button above (Registration Docs.) to download a copy of the
registration form and letter. Please contact the REO if there are any questions.
Children's Liturgy of the Word
The
Parish staff has decided that our
Children's Liturgy of the Word Program
needs to be "beefed up". We need
more volunteers to share with the
smallest of our parish . . . and those
volunteers need to be better trained.
Until
both these needs can be accomplished, we will be suspending
the CLOW Program. If you are
interested in helping out . . . contact
the Rectory or the REO.
G.I.F.T.S.S.
The PSR "GIFTSS" (Giving
Individualized Faith Training to Special Students) program provides
a unique opportunity to share our faith with special needs children.
The program has been in existence for 2 years, helping children and
young adults to understand their faith a little better.
Our program is led by 2
qualifed Intervention Specialists who are capable of working with
all types of special needs.
If you have a special
needs child, or young adult, please consider giving our program a
