The groups associated with this Ministry are:

  • Men’s Group…This group usually meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (see the bulletin for exceptions.)  Men of the parish gather to reflect on the Sunday Gospel, to pray, share and discuss topics related to our Catholic faith.  We also support each other in the challenge of living as a Christian man in this day and age. Contact the Religious Education Office (440.243.8221) for more information.
  • Bible Study…Meets twice weekly, on Tuesday morning and Tuesday evening.  This group learns about and reflects on various books of the Bible or various topics, each over a period of several weeks.  Topics are chosen based on interests of group participants.  Contact Barb Goebl (440.243.3877 ext.29)for current topics and information.
  • 12 Step Spirituality ...This group does not specifically address any addiction or compulsion but integrates principles of the twelve steps into a Christian way of life.  The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month starting in September.  Meetings are held in the Resurrection Chapel.
  • Spiritual Direction … Barbara Goebl (440.243.3877 ext.29) and Robin Imbrigiotta (440.243.3877 ext.21) are available for individuals who are seeking a deeper relationship with God and would like companioning on the way.  Both are certified spiritual directors in the diocese of Cleveland.
  • Side Altar Talks ... Each October the priests of the parish teach about topics on Sunday evenings.  Past topics include the Sacraments and sacramentals, and Catholic Social Teaching.
  • VLCFF ...This is the Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation, sponsored by the University of Dayton.  Courses are taught online for those seeking to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic Faith and for those who are seeking certification to teach religion in PSR or Catholic schools.  Discounts are available as Cleveland is a “partner diocese” in this program.  For further information select the link below.

  •   As part of the Cleveland Diocese’s continuing commitment to the protection of our youth, all parish volunteers who work with children must attend a Virtus session.  Virtus is a program to present information about the warning signs of child sexual abuse.  It is required for any adult who spends more that 4 hours per month with any child or group of children.  For more information about the Diocese program for "Protecting God's Children", select the "Program Info" navigation link on the left (blue bar).  To review the "Policy for the Safety of God's Children", select the "Safety Policy" navigation button on the left (blue bar).  To review the "Standards of Conduct Policy", select the "Conduct Policy" button on the left (blue bar).  It is important to note that every volunteer is required to read this information, print, sign and return the Acknowledgement Forms to the leader of their Ministry.

To register follow the "Links & Locations" navigation button on the Gold Bar (top) then select "VIRTUS" navigation button on the Blue bar (left) or use the following link . . .
