Protecting God's Children:

|
Welcome to St. Mary's Berea Religious
Education Office Adult Faith Ministry.
The St. Mary Men's Group
meets on Thursdays, usually twice per month. For specific
dates and meeting place refer to "REO Calendar" navigation button on
the top bar. Please come and share some faith and
fellowship with other men in the Parish.
As part of the Cleveland Diocese’s
continuing commitment to the protection of our youth, all parish
volunteers who work with children must attend a Virtus session.
Virtus is a program to present information about the warning signs
of child sexual abuse. It is required for any adult who spends
more that 4 hours per month with any child or group of children.
For more information about the Diocese program for "Protecting
God's Children", select the "Program Info" navigation
link on the left (blue bar). To review the "Policy
for the Safety of God's Children",
select the "Safety Policy" navigation button on the left (blue bar).
To review the "Standards of Conduct Policy",
select the "Conduct Policy" button on the left (blue bar). It
is important to note that every volunteer is required to read this
information, print, sign and return the Acknowledgement Forms to the
leader of their Ministry.
To register follow the
"Links & Locations" navigation button on the Gold Bar (top) then
