**************************************************************************

Our site is dedicated to providing information about those activities that are part of the REO, including:

Parish School of Religion (PSR).  PSR consists of the Faith Formation programs for children in grades PRE-K - 7.  It includes the Sacramental preparation associated with First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion, both occurring in the 2nd grade. If you wish to access the sacramental information directly, there is a navigation bar on the left of this page.  The PSR program gathers at two different days/times, 10:30am-11:30am on Sunday mornings (grades PRE-K - 3rd) and 7:00pm-8:15pm on Monday evenings (grades 4 - 7).  Our sessions generally start in September and end at the the beginning of May, with a break at both Christmas and Easter time.

Parish Youth Ministry.  The Youth Ministry deals with maturing & strengthening the Faith of our Parish Teens.  This is done through a number of activities . . .

     - Teen Faith Program is for our 8th & 9th grade youth.  The Program is a series of topics that address the issues that affect this group of young people on a daily basis (Social Justice, Media influence on our Faith, Sexuality, Learning the Mass, etc.).  Each session is 5-6 weeks long.  Sessions are on Sunday & Monday nights during the school year.

     - Youth Group meets on a monthly basis.  The objective is to gather for faith-based fun and fellowship.  All teens 8th grade and up and their friends of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to attend.

     - Sacramental preparation for Confirmation.  Starting in September of each year, this process is for those 10th graders of our Parish who are ready to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church.  If you wish to access the sacramental information directly, there is a navigation bar on the left of this page.

 - Adult Faith Formation.  This program consists of a number of groups for adults who are interested in growing in their knowledge and practice of the faith.  These ministries include . . .

       - The Men’s Spirituality Group of the parish gather to reflect on the Sunday Gospel, to pray, share and discuss topics related to our Catholic faith.

       - Bible Study offers study and reflection on the Bible.  Topics are chosen with input from the participants.

       - Centering Prayer introduces parishioners to a quiet form of prayer and support.

       - 12 Step Spirituality Group integrates principles of the twelve steps of addiction or compulsion into a Christian way of life.

       - Spiritual Direction is available for individuals who are seeking a deeper relationship with God.

       - Side Altar Talks are led by the priests of the parish who teach about specific topics during Advent.

Question of the Week

 http://www.wholecommunitycatechesis.com/pages/questions.html

This new feature is a question which is related to the Readings of the season.  It is designed to help us as we live out the good news we hear at mass.  Some will use it for reflection & prayer.  Others use it as a starter question for their journal.  Finally, some use it for family or group discussion.  However you decide to use it, I hope it helps you on our journey of faith!----

The most current question is at the top.  It goes back in time as you scroll down.  As you will see, there is one question for adults and one for children.
