Children's Liturgy
of the Word
|
I have attached the updated schedule
for the Children's
Liturgy of the Word
that includes
May 30th (Solemnity
of the Most Holy Trinity) through
August 29, 2010 (22nd
Sunday in Ordinary Time).
Just a couple of
notes . . .
- I've added the
page number of the
Worksheet to the
Liturgical Week
(center column) to
aid in finding the
specific Worksheet.
If you use the
scroll bar on the
far right of the
window, the page
number will be shown
as you scroll down.
I hope this helps!
- It's very
important that if
you are not going to
attend on your
scheduled week you
need to contact
someone to take your
place! At
worst case, contact
the REO and will see
if we can find a
replacement!

Our site is dedicated to providing
information about those activities that are part of the REO, including:
Parish School of Religion
(PSR). PSR consists of the Faith Formation programs
for children in grades PRE-K - 7. It includes the Sacramental
preparation associated with First Reconciliation & First Holy
Communion, both occurring in the 2nd grade. If you wish to access
the sacramental information directly, there is a navigation bar on
the left of this page. The PSR program gathers at two
different days/times, 10:30am-11:45am on Sunday mornings (grades PRE-K - 3rd) and
6:45pm-8:15pm on Monday evenings (grades 4 - 7). Our sessions
generally start in September and end at the the beginning of May,
with a break at both Christmas and Easter time.
Parish Youth Ministry.
The Youth Ministry deals with maturing & strengthening the Faith of
our Parish Teens. This is done through a number of activities
. . .
- Teen
Faith Program is for our 8th & 9th grade youth. The
Program is a series of topics that address the issues that affect
this group of young people on a daily basis (Social Justice, Media
influence on our Faith, Sexuality, Learning the Mass, etc.).
Each session is 5-6 weeks long. Sessions are on Sunday &
Monday nights during the school year.
-
Youth Group
meets on a monthly basis. The objective is to gather for
faith-based fun and fellowship. This group spends the year
planning for and attending their annual WorkCamp retreat. All
teens 8th grade and up and their friends of all faiths are welcome
and encouraged to attend.
-
Sacramental preparation for Confirmation. Starting in
September of each year, this process is for those 10th graders of
our Parish who are ready to complete their initiation into the
Catholic Church. If you wish to access the sacramental
information directly, there is a navigation bar on the left of this
page.
- Adult Faith
Formation. This program consists of a number of groups
for adults who are interested in growing in their knowledge and
practice of the faith. These ministries include . . .

reflect on the Sunday Gospel, to pray, share and discuss topics
related to our Catholic faith.
- Bible Study offers study and reflection on
the Bible. Topics are chosen with input from the participants.

support.

integrates principles of the twelve steps of addiction or
compulsion into a Christian way
of life.

specific topics during Advent.
